Before joining Douglas Elliman Lucille was an executive with Deloitte & Touche, and a partner in The Townsend Group, a financial services consultancy. She was president of The Financial Women's Association where she created and participated in conferences for American executives to meet with business leaders and heads of state in Asia, Eastern and Western Europe, and South America. She has been a member of The Economic Club of New York, the board of The International Alliance of Business and Professional Women, and the board of the New York Women's Agenda. She was a trustee of Greenwich House, and does volunteer work for Youth America Grand Prix, which provides opportunities for youngsters the world over to pursue careers in dance. She supports City Meals on Wheels and several other charities. She has spoken publicly on marketing, and the need for more women on public company boards, before business and professional organizations, on TV and radio, and has written for and been quoted in a variety of publications. A native New Yorker, she has an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and a BA in English from Wagner College.
