Originally from Germany, Steffen studied finance in a cooperative program with Deutsche Bank before starting a boutique alternative investments firm with his father. He has always admired the buildings and architecture of New York, but it wasn't until searching for his own first home that he decided to turn his love for real estate into a career. The passion for his profession is obvious to everybody who meets Steffen.

Besides his work, Steffen enjoys exploring the ever-changing neighborhoods of New York City. He also likes to work out, read, play the drums, and travel with his wife and their two children.
